Caregiving for a 68-year-old lady. This position is based in a family house (120 m²) where the client lives with her husband and son. Both are busy with work and do not require any care. There is also a cat in the household.
The lady in care is 68 years old, measures 158 cm, and weighs 80 kg. She has been diagnosed with schizoaffective psychosis, but is stabilized with medication. She is not demented, is fully oriented in terms of place, time, and person, and communicates clearly and without issues. Importantly, the client cannot be left alone, so she requires the presence and companionship of another person.
She moves independently around the house without aids, gets out of bed and chairs without assistance. However, she is unsteady on stairs, so supervision is needed. She is not incontinent but uses incontinence briefs as a precaution. She eats independently.
Job responsibilities include partial assistance with personal hygiene, support with showering and hair washing, help with dressing as needed, and supervision of medication intake (medications are pre-prepared). The role also involves meal preparation, dining together, and monitoring fluid intake. The caregiver handles regular household chores—cleaning, laundry, shopping (shops are within walking distance), and caring for the household for one additional person. An important part of the job is providing companionship, engaging in conversations, taking walks, playing board games, and maintaining a regular daily routine.
Night work is not required, except in emergency situations. The caregiver has access to a private living area (bedroom with living space), furnished with a bed, wardrobe, table, chair, and TV. A shared shower and toilet with the client are available on the floor, as well as internet (WLAN). Time off is possible upon agreement.

We are looking for an experienced caregiver for a 71-year-old gentleman and his wife. The senior has suffered a stroke and heart attack, uses a walker for mobility, has high blood pressure, and a pacemaker. He spends most of the day in a chair, so it is important to motivate him to move and accompany him on walks. His wife suffers from mild dementia, moves independently, and manages most activities on her own.
The caregiver will be responsible for supporting daily activities such as meal preparation, shopping, housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry. The role also includes mobility support, social activities, games, and accompanying them to medical appointments. The gentleman has regular outpatient service visits 2–3 times a day, which take care of compression stockings, medications, and hygiene. In case of a fall, assistance with lifting will be needed, as falls occur approximately every two days, and an emergency home system is available.
A driver's license and experience with driving are advantageous, especially for accompanying to doctors.
Accommodation is provided in a separate room with a bed, wardrobe, and television, and internet will be available. The job is suitable for long-term cooperation, with flexible activity choices according to the clients' needs and possibilities.

Caregiving is intended for an 88-year-old senior (170 cm, 81 kg) who lives alone in a 3-room apartment with a balcony in the town of Pfinztal (Germany). He has a dependency level of 3 (Pflegegrad 3). He moves independently with the help of a walker and does not need assistance when getting up. He suffers from dementia, which mainly manifests as impaired short-term memory and weaker orientation in time. He recognizes close persons, sometimes forgets names, is calm, and shows no aggressive behavior. He has a urinary catheter, and in the past, he had prostate and skin cancer, both of which are currently in remission. He has impaired hearing and uses hearing aids.
The job responsibilities include assistance with dressing, daily personal hygiene, assistance with showering (a bath lift is available), emptying the urinary bag, supervising regular medication intake, meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, shopping, and general household management. The senior eats independently, but monitoring sufficient fluid intake is necessary. The role also includes providing companionship, engaging in conversations, maintaining a daily routine, and going for walks together.
Night work is not required. The family arranges doctor visits and lives directly in the same house – the daughter and her husband live in the apartment upstairs, so they are nearby if needed.
The caregiver has access to a furnished room with internet. Free time can be arranged in agreement with the family.
